Untitled.
I still fear the dark, but not the night.
Because the night are not as dark as they used to be before.
The work should be aesthetically satisfying and invite the viewer with the beauty of shape , depth, illusion, light and contrast so I believe.
My work starts with an idea, observation that evolves in to a spontaneous obsession. Like stories ,dreams , mystery ,occult, magic, the unknown.
The mirrors reveal a wide known story dark but with a happy ending perception of which changes with age.
I deconstruct the subjective and present it from an objective point of view through installation ,sculpture ,photography and mixed technique.
Isn’t it both great and at the same time hopelessly sad that many things are not being viewed the same way as before due to age, experience, perception and various other factors?
Just like the nights, that are not as dark as they used to be before.
